Clara Yang is an experienced Realtor, yes, but at the heart of it, she’s a relationship builder. Through a focus on gratitude and joy, she finds the best aspects of each person in her care. Born in Hong Kong, Clara is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. She grew up in her parents’ diamond business serving high-net-worth clients in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia. She is a graduate gemologist with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and worked as a wholesale diamond buyer in New York and Belgium before launching into her current profession.
Clara moved to the States for her BBA from Cal Poly Pomona and received her master’s degree in finance from Pepperdine University. She acquired her real estate license in 1994, which she has applied in both the residential and commercial sectors. She has been recognized as a top producer with Jon Douglas, Prudential, Keller Williams, and Sotheby’s, and her specialty is the high-end international real estate market. Her multicultural background has enabled Clara to target clients across China, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand who are looking to invest in the residential and commercial Los Angeles real estate market.
As one of the only experienced Chinese-speaking Realtors serving Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Malibu, Clara not only works with buyers and sellers but with other area real estate professionals as well. She is adept at managing transactions for the Asian market and has consulted on multimillion-dollar purchases of commercial realty due to her expertise.
When not working, Clara volunteers in the UCLA NICU and is a docent of Getty Villa. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation on applying mindfulness to the real estate industry to complete her Ph.D. in positive psychology. She splits her time between her homes in Santa Monica and Hong Kong.
