There is no more exciting real estate market in Southern California than downtown Los Angeles. The city core is in the midst of a development boom, with a a variety of new residential and commercial projects transforming the neighborhood.
DTLA real estate is a market worth exploring for any real estate professional. With that in mind, Web site The Real Deal is hosting an event called DTLA Spotlight Showcase and Forum at One California Plaza on June 13.
This forum, which features two panel discussions, promises a “critical dive” into the immense residential and commercial development ongoing in downtown Los Angeles. There will also be analysis and discussion on the wider residential market throughout Los Angeles County.
The event kicks off at 1:30 p.m. with “Doors and Tours” at One Cal. The first panel discussion takes place at 2:30 p.m. and is titled “DTLA Uprising.” The question to be tackled, according to The Real Deal: “Will downtown’s transformation, from mini-city projects like Metropolis to the rise of the Arts District, live up to the hype?”
The second panel starts at 4 p.m. and focuses on the entire Los Angeles County residential real estate market. It’s focus is “What’s hot and what’s not: Mapping LA’s residential scene, from submarkets to price points, amenities and more.
At the conclusion of this panel at 5 p.m., a cocktail reception is to follow. In addition to gaining a wealth of knowledge, this showcase on DTLA real estate promises to be an excellent networking opportunity, as many of the region’s most high-profile real estate professionals are expected to attend.
